KENT EVANS
Christian Mens, Fatherhood and Parenting speaker.
Kent Evans is a Christian speaker who – if he’s had his coffee – will bring a biblical, fun, and energetic message to your next retreat or conference. An ordained minister, he loves teaching about wisdom, identity, parenting and fatherhood. When speaking to men, he challenges them to be disciple makers who are fully engaged spiritual leaders. When speaking to congregations or men and women audiences, he dives into biblical teaching that inspires tangible action. Once, he was the lone male speaker at an all women’s conference (secretly, he thought that was a blast).
ABOUT ME

They told me not to write this in first person. But, in third person, he sounds ridiculous. So here goes.
In order of importance: I’m a Jesus follower. I’m April’s husband, now for more than three decades. I’m a dad of five amazing sons and so far, two even amazinger daughters in law. We live in Kentucky.
After spending a little more than twenty years in the business world, I co-founded Manhood Journey with some close friends. We help dads become disciple-makers. I enjoy speaking and would love to see if I’d be a good fit for your next men’s, fatherhood or parenting event.
I have written four books. The first three were specifically aimed at men (Wise Guys | The Manhood Journey | Bring Your Hammer). The most recent one (Don’t Bench Yourself) is also great for men, but even a few ladies told us they liked it. They might’ve all been members of my family, but hey, I’m not picky.
I am the cohost of the Father On Purpose podcast with my friend, Lawson Brown. Among all the things I do, recording shows with him and the occasional guest is a true joy.
I take the Bible, my faith and the gospel seriously. Everything else, I hold pretty loosely. I would say I’m sought after (that’s key for all speaker pages), but the jig is up. You already found me. I strive to use biblical insight, humor, curiosity and impassioned delivery to encourage audiences to learn, laugh and grow. I’d be honored to explore whether I might be a good fit for your congregation, team or organization.

Being a godly dad is hard work. Challenges abound, and sometimes, we just need some ideas, encouragement, and a little laughter along the way. So, we created the Father On Purpose Podcast to have real, fun, and practical conversations about being dads. Fatherhood is awesome, sacred, and hard all at the same time. We don’t have all the answers, but together as dads, we’ll try to figure it out.
